Grand Voyage — The Grand Voyage is divided into 10 regions, which unlock progressively as the event advances. Typical rules are documented here. Rewards, stamina totals, and leaderboard cutoffs can change by season. I Community strategy from moderator Moon.
Maritime Territory
4
- The Grand Voyage is divided into 10 regions, which unlock progressively as the event advances.
- Each region contains several cities. Chieftains can lead their fleets between unlocked cities.
- The distance between adjacent cities is fixed. Increasing fleet speed reduces the time required to travel.
- Each voyage also requires an additional 1 day of preparation time.
Sailing Speed-Up
4
- Consuming speed-up time immediately reduces fleet travel time by the same amount.
- Speed-Up time recovers naturally over time. Every 10 minutes of real time restores 30 minutes of speed-up time.
- Speed-Up time can accumulate up to 200 hours. Once it reaches or exceeds this limit, it will no longer recover naturally.
- Using 1 supply immediately restores 30 minutes of speed-up time, and this can exceed the maximum limit.
Market Trading
6
- When the chieftain is in a city, they can buy and sell specialties at the market.
- Each city sells different specialties and has different demand for others. Chieftains can buy low in one city and sell high in another to earn profits.
- Specialty prices fluctuate over time and are updated every year in January, April, July, and October.
- Each specialty has limited stock. All specialty stock is refreshed on January 1 each year.
- The fleet's cargo capacity determines how many specialties can be transported at a time. Chieftains should continue upgrading their ships to improve trading efficiency.
- When selling specialties, there is a chance to trigger bargaining and earn additional profit. The amount of extra profit depends on the fleet's bargaining stat.
Fleet
4
- When a fleet travels between cities on the map, the travel distance is determined by the distance between the cities. A ship's durability affects its maximum sailing range.
- In addition, ship parts can be upgraded at the post station to improve speed, max durability, max cargo, and bargaining.
- Once all ship parts have reached their maximum level, the ship can be upgraded in a city.
- After being upgraded, the ship gains a new appearance, bonuses to all attributes, and a higher level cap for its parts.
Guardian Cryptids
4
- The fleet has four guardian positions: vanguard, logistics, left flank, and right flank, corresponding to speed, durability, cargo, and bargaining respectively.
- A guardian cryptid can be assigned to guard the fleet after its first part is unlocked, granting the corresponding attribute bonus.
- Each guardian cryptid has four parts. As your merchant title increases, these parts will gradually unlock, granting additional attribute bonuses.
- While guarding the fleet during voyages, guardian cryptids can obtain Poseidon's Blessing, which can be used to activate their potential.
Chamber of Commerce Investment
4
- Every city has its own chamber of commerce. Chieftains can spend bills of exchange to invest in it and raise its level.
- Upgrading the chamber immediately increases market share and reputation, while also providing ongoing dividends.
- As reputation increases, more and rarer specialty goods become available in the market.
- Increasing territory level raises the maximum chamber of commerce level in all subordinate cities.
Territory Level
2
- When all subordinate cities within a region reach the required chamber of commerce level, the region's territory level can be upgraded.
- After the territory level is increased, specialty stock and bargaining success rates in the region's subordinate cities will improve, and specialty goods can be purchased at lower prices.
Merchant Title
2
- When certain requirements, such as total assets and total reputation, are met, the chieftain's merchant title can be upgraded.
- Increasing merchant title level not only unlocks new regions and additional guardian cryptid slots, but also grants attribute bonuses to all of the chieftain's heroes.
Core Progression Strategy
3
- Golden Rule: Always prioritize the rarest resource available. Even if lower-tier goods are discounted, rare goods offer significantly higher value.
- Trade Efficiency: Always sell your current cargo before buying new goods or upgrading ports to ensure you have maximum capital.
- Ship Priority: Focus upgrades in this order: Storage Capacity (Revenue) Speed (Efficiency) Durability (Early Game).
Critical Mistakes
3
- Idle Boats: Never leave your fleet stationary; it reduces dividend income by 25%.
- Empty Cargo: Never travel without a full load of the rarest available goods.
- Negotiation Stat: Generally considered a low-priority stat; focus on city dividends instead.
Rank Progression Strategy
7
- Phase 1: SR Rush
- Loop between two SR-unlocking cities (Level 15). Focus on upgrading territories.
- Phase 2: SSR Rush
- Use adjacent cities (e.g., Saint-Malo/Paris) to reach Level 25 SSR goods.
- Phase 3: UR End Game
- Maximize two adjacent territories to Level 30; reach Level 35 for UR goods.
- Guide contributors: Boah (Garden S9); Greco24 (Forest S13); Zinek (Stone S2)
Typical rules as of 18 September 2026. Rewards and schedules can change by season.
